Schluter®-DITRA is a polyethylene membrane with corrugated ribs cut back in a dovetail configuration and a special anchoring webbing (scrim) laminated to its underside. Designed for ceramic tile and dimension stone installations, Schluter®-DITRA serves as an uncoupling layer for problematic substrates, a waterproofing layer, and a vapor pressure equalization layer to accommodate moisture occurring at the underside of the substrate.

For details regarding Schluter®-DITRA <../products/h6.1-ditra.htm> or any other Schluter®-Systems products, please write or call the company at 194 Pleasant Ridge Rd., Plattsburgh, NY 12901-5841, tel.: 1-800-472-4588, fax: 1-800-477-9783, or visit our web site: www.schluter.com. To contact the Tile Council of America, please call: 1-864-646-8453 or fax: 1-864-646-2821.

edit: There are many of these uncoupling products available now. Currently there are no standards for them so we encourage you to buy from manufacturer's that you trust. Here's a few listings that are on the market today.
