Looking for a tile installer in Long Beach, CA

I hope it's okay to post this request here. I looked to through the FAQ and couldn't find any restrictions on asking.

I'm looking for someone to install Travertine tile on my condo balcony in downtown Long Beach, CA. The area to be covered is approximately 13 x 7.5 ft. I already have the Travertine in 18x18, 12x12 and 6x6 honed or tumbled tiles as well as some tumbled Travertine mosaic, all left over from a remodel project last year. The texture of the balcony flooring similar to stucco. I have been told that nothing can be nailed or screwed into the floor (I'm not sure how difficult that will make the job).

The balcony is 4 stories up from the street so all work will have to take place on the same balcony because the garage is too far away.

I would like work to begin within the next 4-6 weeks. If anyone has a referral please send a PM and we can discuss the job further.

Thanks,

Deb

Welcome to the forum, Deb.

I'm going to move this over to the Pro's Hangout Forum where there's more visibility for this thread. I'll leave a link here so you can find it easily.

And Jack is somewhere around 80 miles away from Long Beach. Let's see if we can get him to chime-in on this.

Might want to re-think that Splinter..

Half the tools I need to complete my jobs would not be allowed any where near an airport, let alone on the plane

I was going to raid Hamilton's garage...

ps- shortly before 9/11, I took my Dewalt cordless 4-pack (with blades and batteries in the sawzall and circ saw) on a plane to Paris, France. Kept it in the overhead storage, and no one seemed to care. Shortly after 9/11, they took everything but my Q-tips.

Hmm, it seems this particular forum won't let me quote the post I'm replying to.

Oh well.

* Tool Guy - Thank you for placing this in the appropriate forum.

* Splinter - Since it seems that most of the airlines have ceased business and the rest keep canceling their flights due to maintenance issues, I'm afraid I can't take you up on your offer. I'm sure it would have been a great deal... to someone... somewhere. Thanks

* Marge - Thanks for spreading the word for me.

Is this a setup?
