'Nother Craftsmanship Contest!
Here's another show-off contest for y'all, this time for natural stone instead of ceramic tile and sponsored by the MIA. Brought to our attention by our friends at MAPEI.
Here's a link to everything you need to know.
Actually, what y'all need to know is that although this contest is specifically for natural stone, ol' Mark Christensen ( MarkTarkus) won a large award at the recent Coverings event with a shower that was done in natural stone. Chances are he'll submit the same project for this contest and I know y'all don't wanna let him win another one with that incredible shower, right?
Send'em some competition.

Good thinking Joe. I wonder if there are any package tours to Bikini or Murmuroa

An easy drive? Be pretty easy from my current work location, Brad, but if Paul can drive it from his house in less that 12 hours I'd be impressed.
I'm surprised this thread isn't getting more action. Much as y'all seem to like posting pichers of your current projects, I'd think a bunch of you would wanna enter some of'em into this contest.
I guess Mark will hafta remain our now and future hero, eh?

I might have to give the contest a shot. As far as carpet...I would rather eat a bucket of boogers than ever do that. They might be pretty tasty.

Mick and I could certainly put a few worthy projects in for the run, as we've done some real beauties together.
I'd much rather see some MLTSystem users go for the grab of that thunder.

I believe our new member Edgar of Luquin tile and stone could offer some stiff competition.
He posted some fine work recently in the craziest custom tile design thread.
Josh from New World Tile deserves some kudos as well.
Both of you should consider entering.
