Travertine Shower 24x24
We just wrapped up this bad boy. 24x24 travertine tile with a custom versailles pattern smack dab in the middle. It was a beast, but the customer loved it

First time ever in 22 years of the tile game doing a border thingy cut in like this. This is a silly process. Is this a common type job for many of you guys?

I wouldn't say it's common. But I've done a shower floor with a little border. Not nearly as complicated as that one tho.

Your Works In Progress Or Finished Pics
And was there some reason why these pics were deleted last week?
This was a master shower I wrapped up recently. Homeowners were very pleased.
I also did all the trimwork, installed cabinets, lighting.

Love the top pics style. I'm about to do the double niché on the plumbing wall on my grandfathers shower like the second pic, man it looks good!

Bathroom remodel
This bathroom remodel was fun..The shower pan was floated with mortar leaving it a 1/2” higher than the floor, then added 1/4” wediboard over the bathroom floor, then added a floor heating system...Then wediboard over the walls, then The green liquid membrane was painted over th pan and floor in multiple coats...Installed the tile and spectralock grout, installed the crazy glass door and came out pretty nice...I will add finished pics on next post...

Nice work Don! The glass next to the tile wall, how did you finish that? Did you mount the glass, then install the tile to the frame,or vise versa?

Never mind lol...I see what you did. You installed a vertical row of flat tile where the glass mounts.

This tile made by Emser had flat and wedged tiles, I used the flats wherever I needed it to be flat. The flat ones came in handy behind the toilet also..Thanks for the compliment, Much apriciated...
