German Stepladder

Problem I have with the Little Giant version, Nate, aside from the only-two-leg extension, is the 40-pound weight and 28-inch footprint. I could find no specs for the German ladder, but at least it doesn't have the extra extension ladder addition and should be substantially lighter. Extension ladders I have; it's only the stepladder I want.

I agree about the clamping system on the German model, but I keep thinking they're just not describing it sufficiently. Or maybe it really sucks. Gonna cost three or four hunnert bucks (at least) to find out and I bet they don't pay for return shipping, eh?

Once upon a time I knew more than one, Paul, but not sure any of'em likely me enough to go ladder shopping in Germany on my behalf. I don't see a brick and mortar outlet for them, anyway.

That works for a lot of European websites. Once you know that, the first thing you check for is the flag. It's a good idea to check the native language site also. Once in a while the English site is a small fraction in size. You still cannot read the original, but you might find more picture or other hints.

Ron, that Stabiladder thingee is 'zackly what Eric (e3) meant we all use a piece of 2x4 for. I doubt you'll find any of my extension ladders without a few holes near the bottom to screw into the 2x4, even. OSHA guys just love'em.

I cant see in your picture cx but i know fr a fact wakü makes the most "user friendly"
Just make sure it isnt a systhem that clip every extention you try to make.

Check out the Landon Ladder. Not as versatile as that German ladder but maybe they have something you can use. www.landonladder.com I think I saw it on Shark Tank or a similar show.
