Jon, we will minimize the 'Tile 101' aspect of the training, we know and respect that you're trained, experienced installers.

Dan, thank you for hearing us out and yes I do understand your audience is usually a wide range but we set tile I only got into tile because I started doing it and not reading a book but following along a book. So from your seat you want to educate us yes but from our view we don't sit around all day we are very active all day long. I realize you do need to speak of the products and we need to ask questions yes.... interaction is the way. I would just like to interact with your products.

Maybe too much time going over sealers

Thank you once again Marge for all your efforts we really appreciate these events. Spending quality time together and learning, if I didn't have this opportunity I would not use the product or recommend it. 2/3 full already
Thank you Dan for opening your doors to the JB Forum

Based on your feedback I've cut the section on sealing and cleaning to focus more on hands-on product demos. The lab tour will be quick but I can cut the plant tour and expand the time for questions and discussion. Thanks for the comments, keep them coming. Marge, an updated agenda will be in your inbox on Monday.

I'm in for the plant tour. I use (literally) tons of Mapei product and I'd enjoy seeing the guts of it all.

Hi Guys
I'm also in for the plant tour! I like to hear the bells and whistles go off when something causes the line to shut down.
The training program sounds great! I also enjoy the lab tours, and promise to hang at the back of the crowd just in case one of the technicians holds me back.
While sealers and cleaners don't appeal to many of the group here, I hope they are touched on. It's a very important part of the industry that most people are misinformed on, then give bad advice about to their clients.
If no one has ever worked with Keralastic/Kerabond or GraniRapid, this is stuff that doesn't just wash off your hands, clothes, tools, or surface of the tile. These products perform in most adverse conditions, while others fail.
Hopefully Mapecem will be covered. Great product for preslopes and shower pan beds if you want to get on the surface almost immediately. You don't have time to dilly dally though.
Hands on with these great setting materials, patching compounds, waterproofers, and grouts is a higher priority to me than excessive time on thin panel tiles.
As always, I'll go with the majority, just throwing stuff out there!
Thanks again Dan, looking forward to meeting you!

Mapei Dan, be forewarned. Your alarms in the plant will be tested by this group. Some of us did a tour of Crossville a while back and a certain person, whispers JK, seemed to have just the right chemistry to set theirs all off. It's only a drill!

Hi Leon
Thanks for verifying some potential for real excitement at this event. You might night belive this, but when I caught up with John B. and a few others at the airport restaurant, alarms started going off in the kitchen as I arrived. Hmmm. I couldn't help it bit to start laughing. That was followed by my flight being canceled because of bad weather in Chicago. I wound up catching a flight into Midway instead of O'hare and eventually made it home. What an adventure!

I'll pass on tours unless we are going down to South Beach The tours are interesting but want to spend more time using your products I am looking for another grout to bring onboard to supplement what I already use

I have everyone on the Attendee List who has contacted me directly or mentioned here they would like to attend. We only have two slots left.
I will be getting some info out to all of you later this week that should help you in determining your travel plans.
