Nope never got out of fl.moved to Ocala four months then moved back to Naples.Just couldn't move away.

Best thing is for the eye of the hurricane to go right up the gut of Florida. It will lose strength and drop intensity pretty quickly. If it stays on the west coast,it keeps getting fuel from the warm water as it travels.
Bad situation all around.

My parents are south of Ocala and are expecting 75-85mph winds and lots of rain if it stays on it's current path. My neighbor has a winter place in Ft Myers about 3 mi from the coast and is expecting to lose everything.

Yep losin hope now with the storm surge potential.My daughter in law the paramedic was moved to higher ground.My son is being housed at the new courthouse,we can only hope,but Naples and Ft. Myers will be hit hard.

I was skiing last weekend and it was -6°.

I'd much rather be skiing at -6° than working at a perfectly comfortable temperature anyday.
