Geueze we have a couple of those flip tables(the blue ones) even the larger versions..They don't work so good for the price.

I did the tile work on a remodel job for a guy who is famous here in OK. Big nice house surrounded by a horse ranch. Well anyway after I was mostly finished except for some small stuff the GC called and asked if I had heard anything about the safe. I said uhhhh? He goes on to tell me that the homeowners safe got stolen. This was a big safe. Probably 3ft wide and 8 ft tall. And a real safe. Not a Sams Club safe if you know what I mean. The GC said they were taking fingerprints and for me to keep my ears open. So long story short (too late for that now) the trim carpenter over heard a couple of the landscapers who came in the house to check stuff out talking about how one guy could steal a safe like that by himself. That's all he heard. So it takes a couple of weeks to track the guy down because there are lots of guys there trenching and rocking about 200 yds of creek. Big boulder waterfalls and foot bridges. So they find the thief, go to his house and there is the safe unopened in his garage. He said he got it out of the house by laying it down on golf balls. And sure enough there was few golf balls in the house that he missed and a five gallon bucket of them in his garage.

Golf balls. Mmmm, just goes to add support to my contention that a fella can learn somethin' new hereabouts every day.

Wazza theft of safe I read about some years ago. Major rich fella got hisself a grat big ol' safe set in his new house whilst it was still under construction and was tellin' his friends how it was wouldn't nobody never be stealin' his stuff in that safe on accounta just not possible to crack it and it won't even fit through any of the doors.

Found it hanging from a tow truck in the drive where the thief had dragged it through a humongus hole inna wall (with a little window for the cable, of course) and up off the ground. Onliest reason it was still there was the thief, in his effort to be real stealthy like, didn't leave the stolen truck engine running and ran the batteries down runnin' the winch. Couldn't start the truck.

But the safe didn't git stole.

Jack, ping John VanCamp (jvcstone) and see do he have any eye-dees. He's alla time foolin' with big ol' rocks in his yard and pewtin' them in peoples houses and stuff, I do believe.

I dont have a problem lifting them for you.. BUT being only 5'3" I dont think I will be tall enough to set them in place.

Jack, I saw this sweet little number at the lumber yard the other day, and Im fixin to get one soon. Might be worth looking into. It ran about $350.
My guess is you could build some sort of post and beam structure in front of the hole the alcove is going into, tie off, hoist up, and swing into place. Just a thought, its going to be challenging what ever way you do it.
