Inconsistent grout color

Hello all,
I'd like to say thanks first of all for all the info on this site. I've lurked for the last few months while we've been tiling and it's been a great help. The search button is a great tool

I do have a specific question now.
We finished our tile job about 3 weeks ago, and are now getting ready to seal the grout. Problem is the grout color is inconsistent. It's dark in some spots and light and hazy in others.
If you look at the first picture, the grout lines are the proper color (I think). The other shows the discoloration. It's not all over the floor, just in spots. I've tried moping and scrubbing, but it hasn't made that much of a difference.
Is there anything that can remove that haze, or did we goof when we grouted? I need to do something soon as we are babysitting some special needs dogs this weekend and I don't want any "emissions" to soak into unsealed grout

We usually suggest a haze removal such as sulfamic acid crystals, or 50/50 vinegar wash and soft brush,but this is a problem with a lot of grout joints,could be water used in cleanup, or different thicknesses in depth of joints,inconsistent water in grout mixing, anyway sometimes it's not fixable and you may have to use a grout stain or colorant,Aquamix makes one.
