Ditra install

Going to tile kitchen floor using ditra. Substrate is 3/4 ply over planking all in great shape level and tight . Removed previous covering which was 12 x 12 vinal self adhesive backed tiles which has left the ply very sticky . Will this be a problem putting ditra over this or do I need to do something with the ply first

Is the glue water soluable? Can you grind / sand it off? Sometimes adding saw dust to the stickyness will make sandpaper work better
