Reapply Sealer - Solvent based

Hi,

I have about 10,000sq travertine pavers on a patio. I applied StoneTech Enhancer Pro sealer a year ago. Looks great but I still find that it will stain if I do not get the leaves / flower peddles off the tile before they get wet. If it sits a few days I do get a stain.

Can I just reapply a new coat of the StoneTech (solver based) right over the year old coat or do I need to strip it.

Thanks,

Doug

Hi Doug, welcome. That's a penetrating sealer so there shouldn't really be any build up to strip off. I would make sure the travertine is clean and dry and seal it again. Right after you apply the sealer, you will probably will have to wipe off the excess. Do a small area at a time. Read the label and follow the instructions, you'll do fine.

I'd pick the coolest time of day to seal it and avoid the overhead sun.
