We are starting to have spotty power outages a block or two away. Time to set up the generator because no blackout happens during the daylight hours.....

And its still raining. A neighbor measured her trashcan at 35 inches of rain a few hours back

We could use some of that rain here....over 300,000 acres of wildfires burning in Oregon right now. Smell of smoke heavy in the air for 6 weeks. Beautiful sunsets tho

I've always thought we should start selling water in addition to refined petrochemicals. We've got plenty of water as we set over 3 aquafors, we 're real good at pipelines, and no one will scream if a water pipeline leaks.

Seems the weather is a little peculiar this year. My state is ablaze border to border, I haven't breathed smoke-free air in 7 weeks. And now it looks like Floridians are likely gonna feel some pain.

With any luck Irma will wipe all the hacks out to sea.

Sounds like something Gueuze would say, mumbling "life is cheap" or something like that.

You can wash away the hacks but they'll just be replaced by blood-sucking trade gypsies looking to take advantage of the carnage.

Looks like we are getting the big one we always knew would come.My family left, except ,y cop son and his paramedic wife who had to stay.Looks like we will lose everything.I have a few tools in a condo and some in my truck parked in front of my garage door, but i have little faith we will go unscathed.Bummer.
