Nice stuff everyone. Pooky, good to see you!

Put on the Dr. Frankengueuze hat and tore apart and rebuilt an iphone 4s yesterday. Apple store repair, $175. Screen was $32 on Amazon.
Was kinda fun, it works. Only one little piece left over, lol. Grounding tab for lock button, should be able to strip it down and get that in in about 20 min this time.

Box out plumbing for SLC pour with k-board scraps stuck with plain old latex caulk. Vanity will covwer it all.
One of these stones is not cut square, will grind a joint into it tomorrow with the Fein tool.
View from the hammock this evening.

Looks good, my project today.
2.5" x 16" black Indian slate from Island Stone, square edge, no joint, no TLS, 4XLT.
Did some abstract skimming art with my last bit of thinset at the end of the day.
Just some minor lippage
View from my tile saw.

Last weeks project at Maui Kaanapali Villas for a client from Vancouver.
Main floor mudded to fix 3/4" low spots, bathroom floor fixed with slc. (pour in progress)
Laticrete 170 Sound Membrane on entire floor per condo requirements. Bonded with 254 to grinded slab. Set tile with 253. Shower walls 4XLT and GTA.
Tile is 18" Ilva Tin Oxide, grouted with Permacolor.
Hydroban shower with Hydroban drain.
And what we had to do to deal with lanai door that was flush with existing slab. Used Schluter Reno to help. See post http://www.johnbridge.com/vbulletin/...ostcount=13750
Client is changing out bathroom light. (I hope )

That Schluter Reno looks like a good solution for the slider.
