That came out great Paul. I wasn't sure but looking at it finished, it looks like it is part of the stove.

The lady of the house changed her mind once she saw the original tile design installed (hence the long delay) We like this design much better as it accents the stove very well, instead of having stainless throughout the BS

Brain, looks good too, any option to remove the solid tops splashes, or you just do tile only?

most don't want them removed. New jobs usually don't have them done.

Nice work Jon very nice finished product.

Greg congrats on landing that project! Good job on the wrap, what are you using for grout?

Slow season for tourist on Maui equals busy season for tile guys. If you are good tile setter and want to move to Maui plenty of work. All the good tile contractors are swamped and even the bad guys are busy too.

Some various projects in progress-

Rectified Panaria 12x24. Vertical glass tile accent band to go on back wall.

A condo project we just finished at 7pm on a Friday so it would be ready for owners arrival that night. The tile setting is the easy part. The furniture moving, cleaning, setting toilets, hooking up the cable, etc is the 'fun' part.

Used a non rectified Panaria 18. Black granite humpback whales waterjet into entry way.

And back at the first project an AO non rectified porcelain with 3/32" joints because I'm a glutton for punishment. Actually no more inconsistent in sizing than the non rectified Panaria from Italy.

Thanks for the well wishes guys, The University (USC east coast) is very good to me. I'll be doing a 1800 sq.ft. porch on campus for a home that was built in 1915 as well. They use it to house a few offices upstairs and host fundraisers downstairs. I've got some pics somewhere of the disaster that it is now before we tear it up or down to the fill dirt how ever you look at it......I'll try to remember to post them.

Issac grouting with Permacolor "sterling silver".
