Thanks, Eric. That one's been posted here previously and it is impressive. That's a grat big ol' owl even compared to the grat big ol' owls I spend my time with every Spring.

But I've seen similar scenes lots and lots of times, including at least one that came in and sat on top of my camera while I was pointing it at the mouse he was s'posta be landing on. Seems I had a transparent plastic box of mice dangling from the pinkie of the hand that was holding the camera.

And it never really gets old, specially with the completely wild owls we're working with (unlike the big sucker in that film) that just have no fear of us generally. Have twice fed them mice out of my hand (which I really, really do not recommend). Amazing to have wildlife up that close and personal.

Owls are just rather cool birds.

Well, I hate to rain on your brag there, Stoner, but really, that doesn't look like you at all on that film, even blurry as it is.

Hammy, I would have never believed that one, without seeing it. My only problem is, if I was able to save all my short cuts, I'd never have any kindling for the fireplace.

holy cow I've never seen anything like that!

I wonder if all that stretching makes the board narrower?
