addressing tub-wall caulk issue,,

Hi, been a while how yall doing?
I have another silly question for yall,
Is there quarter round tile or similar made for the area where the tub meets the wall?
I am sick to death of caulk,,
I thought about even using the curved baseboard tiles like the ones around the bottom of the bathroom wall and stick them on the tile that runs the edge of the tub.
Please tell me they make a quarter round or some cove tile for this, I am ready to tear out the caulky mess and stick marine grade tape over it or colored duck tape,,

Hi Dusty,

welcome back.

seems like your not getting the caulking done right and it's failing on you.

they do make 1/4 round trim tile, but where the wall meets the tub you still need caulking or your grout will crack and lead to possible water leak and damage.

Hi Dusty!

You can't properly seal a tub or shower without flexible sealant. Rather than throw in the towel, take a look at this thread from a few years ago.

If you're close to the Milwaukee area, I can probably help you out....what are the odds? Prolly not so good.
