1/4 inch underlayment

I'm wanting to install 1/4 inch plywood underlayment on top of Dri-core inter-locking panels and then lay a sheet of linoleum down on that. The shortest ring shanks for the underlayment that I can find are 1-1/4 which won't work because the Dri-lock panels are 7/8 and sitting on a concrete floor. Can I use 1"sheet rock screws or will the x phillips head receiver eventually show through the linoleum? Can I recess the screw heads and then fill the recess in with plastic wood? Am I anal about this or what???
Maybe I should use 1" roofing nails but are the heads too big and will they hold? Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Oh. Should I use adhesive too??
The Dri- core panels are 7/8's think and I think are 5/8 OSB glued to a plastic grid that raises them off the floor. Total thinkness is, as I said, 7/8".

thanks,

Here's a link, but i don't think you need anything over these panels for linoleum, but if you need something extra for flatness just glue a thin masonite down and use weight to keep it flat till the glue dries,or use roofing nails 3/4"......http://www.dricore.com/en/eIndex.aspx
