Trask,

You're right it was Tears for Fears and that was the first song posted by tubdog a year ago in his first post. How things come full circle!

Sung to: "Rock this Town"

We're gonna grout this tub, grout it inside out
We're gonna grout this wall, make 'm scream and shout
Let's grout, grout, grout man grout, grout
We're gonna grout till we pop, We're gonna float till we drop
We're gonna grout this floor, & clean it inside out.

Written by Brian May first performed by Queen 1977 "We Will, We Will Rock You"

We Will, We Will Grout it.
We Will, We Will Grout it.
Buddy your a grout man make a big pan,
Playing in the Mud gonna be a tile man some day.
Got Mud on your face - big disgrace,
Slinging this stuff all over the place.
We Will, We Will Grout it.
We Will, We Will Grout it.

Too Easy... Too Easy... It took me 6 hours to think that up - course that's about how long it takes me to figure out what I'm gonna charge for a shower too....

Summer of '69

I got my first real grout bucket
Bought it at the five-and-dime
Grouted ‘til my fingers bled
It was the summer of '69

Me and some guys from school
Had a saw and we tried real hard
Johnny quit and Mikey got married
I shoulda known we'd never get far

Oh when I look back now
That tile job seemed to last forever
And if I had the choice
Ya - I'd always wanna be there
Those were the crap days of my life

Ain't no use in complainin'
When you got a job to do
Spent my evenin's down on my knee-ees
And that's when I met you

Groutin’ on your Mama's porch
You told me that you'd sponge forever
Oh and when you held my hand
I knew that they were chaffed real bad
Those were the best days of my life
Back in the summer of '69

Man we were killin' time
We were young and restless
We needed to unwind
I guess nothin' can last forever - forever, no (‘cept for tile)

And now the times are changin'
Look at alla colors that's come and gone
Sometimes when I use that old buck-et
I think about ya wonder why it hazed

Standin' on your Mama's porch
You told me it would last forever
Oh the way you held my hand
I knew that you shoulda worn some glove-ies
Those were the best days of my life

Back in the summer of '69
Me and my baby in a '69..

To the tune of "Willing"

Well I been from JB's Tile,
To the big box aisle,
Squeezed out every kinda sponge that's ever been made,
And if I don't clean it good I may never get paid,

And I'm still willing
