I paid about $9500 for all supplies for my last bathroom remodel. That includes the purchase of the DeWalt tile saw, the custom glass door, all electrical, plumbing supplies and all material necessary for a gut remodel down to the studs (insulation, new window, etc.). Also, lots of Schlueter stuff which was expensive.
With a family of four, currently relying on one income with two small kids to feed and a mortgage to service, this is also the very maximum we could afford.

$25k+? A non-starter for me for sure. Financially not viable unless one is willing to take out a loan. I am sure I am not alone.

And yes, Ali, that Kerdi linear drain is seriously pricey.
