Web site comin soon

Ive been working with my father in law who builds web sites and is a
all around computer guy. He is going to build a website for me but in the
mean time i have resized around 80 photos and made a slideshow. this
will be the premise for some discs i intend on burning and handing out to
some local tile shops..... the ones that will take them at any rate
If you get an idle 3-4 minutes take a look. the link is in my signature.

Ill be looking for layout advise for my website and would love to check out
those folks sites who have them so if you got it goin on post here so i can
get some ideas . thanx everyone

I can't help but mention that I love the music. From an early Garcia Band show/album I assume. His voice is still young. Ratdog tour started up couple nights ago. Too much work, not enough play.

Oh yeah, nice tile work.

Well, I hate to be an ol' stick inna mud, but I bet I'm not the only one out here who ain't gonna watch the slide show until you pewt a big mute button for the music right up front where I can find it.

Seriously, Jack. No way I stay on a web site where I can't turn off their sound. And I didn't see a way on yours at all.

And I'd really like to see all your work.

Well, I scrolled over all the buttons on the player and none of them identified theirownselfs. You need a big button.

And it's not your taste in music, it's just having it come on uninvited when I'm trying to look at something on a web site. I know, I know, I'm weird. But I ain't the onliest one out here.

with that in mind i guess i should make it a silent film. I think it was scott
mentioned he uses no sound on his. probably best. i was just havin fun
with my experimental version before i actually setup to run a bunch of copies.

Still lookin for advice on the website. It wont have music haha , should i do
a company mission statement type start page and have buttons to link to
the photos? I was thinking about splitting up my portfolio into different tile
applications .... Showers/ Kitchens/Floors etc etc...

Hi Jack

Looks great! I love the special transition effects. I would probably make it go a little slower between frames, but that's just me.

I'm also working on finalizing my website. My graphic designer is doing it for me, so it's costing a small fortune. That's ok though, because everything I do is being represented in a fashion that I would like to present to my clients.

I've already thought about some new ideas after the site is officially launched, but I've got to start somewhere.

Keep us posted.
