Maybe someone can correct me on this, but I have very serious doubts that there are large differences between brands of grout. There are a few categories [portland cement based, other cement based, epoxy, premixed] but within those categories, across brands, I think the differences are probably largely inconsequential.* So I am sure TEC is fine, but I am not sure it would be worth seeking out over a more available option for some reason.

So back to your original question and looking at the original pictures, if it were me, I think I might just use what is already on top of the wall. It's polymer modified, cement based. It will last about as well as anything else, and match what's there the best.

* the only exception I know of is Ardex FL which seems unique

Read up on Tec grout and check out the U-Tube videos on it. Read the comments.

Many thanks to everyone who replied to my questions! I decided on the Prism grout, and I was happy with my decision. I didn't think it was that much harder to work with than Polyblend.Name: Left side-2edited.jpg
