Spectralock mini RIP?

My local Lowes has discontinued Spectralock, and Lowes.com hasn't got it anymore. The Lowes salesman told me they have changed product lines and now only carry Mapei. I'm about half way through a big retile project and I foolishly thought I would have a continuous source of Spectralock from Lowes. Anyone have any idea what's going on?

All Lowes around here are still carrying the minis, laticrete.com has a dealer locator. One place I know for sure who carries full units anyway is masterwholesale.com. They may not be listed on their site but if you call I'm sure they'll set you up.

Good luck,
matt

Spectralock mini

Seattle is a long drive from Florida. I may have to finish the job with full units from a local tile store or by mail from Seattle.

Howie,

I have no idea what's going on with Lowes. For the longest time out here they carried Mapei everything and Spectralock. Then they started getting rid of the Mapei thinsets and converting to Laticrete but still had Mapei grout. If you have trouble locating your Spectralock try eBay. There's a seller on there who will package up any size you need. I'm not sure I would get anything other than the way Laticrete packages it. But the guy has to be o.k., he has over a 4000 feedback count and it's 100% positive.
