Need help with Crackled Glass Mosaic Tile!

Hello!

Yesterday, we installed crackled glass mosiac tiles on the Kitchen backsplash.

Today, we started the process of grouting the laid tiles. We did not seal the crackled glass prior to starting the grouting process, so few of the tiles have grout in the crackled glass.

Any ideas on how to remove it??

We have already sealed the remaining tiles, but would like to fix the tiles with the white grout in the crackled glass.

Thanks!

Pics would help a ton so every one can see what you are up against, if you can put something in the pic like a quarter for reference to size that helps to on things

Till then i think a little vinegar, maybe sulfamic acid and a toothbrush or dental pic might work.

At HD,just mix with water and dip toothbrush in and scrub the tiles, tedious and it may not get all of it out, very tough to do.Do the best you can then see if an enhancing sealer will darken it in enough to live with.

You can get sulfamic acid at home burrito in the tile section. Its sold in little tubs. When mixed with water it become sulfuric acid. While it will work - be careful about handling it.

How wide are those grout joints? They look a little low / not full enough from here.

sealed it...how?

First of all, great taste. My wife picked identical tile. Had the same issue on my first section. The advice is great. Before I start my next section, what did you seal it with?

Start with the manufacturer's recommendation on a sealant. If there is none, my first preference would be for Miracle 511.
