Floor and Decor

Does anyone do work thru there affiliate group,
"Installation Made Easy"??

I've been receiving requests from this company and was curious.

Never heard of it. This is F&D's installtion service? I didn't know they did that either but they are a newer thing out where I live.

Off topic but I just took two calls last week from people that were screwed by Home Depot's installs. It's hard for me to believe that these companies still do these. It's been the same story for 20 years. They've never figured out how to do the installs without screwing things up.

Agreed. People need to understand that Home Depot employees aren't specialized in a certain area. So if you ask them to do your windows and then your tiles, you're in for a messy show and no warranty lol

Years ago a guy called me and wanted a bid to tile his kitchen and dining room floor. Once I got there, he mentioned that Home Depot had already given him a bid on the floor. I figured there was no way I'd get the job so I was surprised when he called me wanting to know when I could get started. We got to talking one day while I was there working and he showed me the Home Depot bid. Their sq ft price was cheaper than mine but they had measured about 125 sq ft too much. Best I remember, the whole job was only about 350 sq ft. So all that extra footage made their price higher than mine. I don't know if they did that on purpose or if the guy didn't know how to figure sq footage.
