Grout Mfgs. Your Favorite Product, Quartzlock, Ardex Etc.

I have been turned on to Quartzlock for a while now because of how water proof the stuff is. i love that peace of mind, BUT, it never fully cleans off the tile. Also, I've recently learned I'm supposed to caulk shower corners but Quartzlock makes no caulk to match their grout...

Please provide your input here to help out a relatively green tile installer. I would be very grateful for your advice. Thanks!

Try the "Fusion Pro" at Homer's.

Hopefully, Paul will stop by with a link to the caulk company that matches it.

Ferris, anyone?

Many people who have tried both find that our Flexcolor CQ cleans more thoroughly than the urethane based grouts and has matching caulk available:

They are available at major retailers such as Lowes (rolling out as we speak) and Floor and Decor (already widely available) plus through tile distributors across the country.

I just used Flexcolor CQ quartz aggregate grout for the first time on a carrara marble installation and found it to clean off the tile easier than any grout I have ever used before.

I too am a fan of Fusion Pro as well but found the Flexcolor to clean off the sealed marble very easily.

Zoe there is a cleaner called Blaze that removes the haze off the tile from Urethane grouts. Use it the next day, if you have haze.

But as mentioned above there are other premixed grouts on the market that may be easier to work with.

Microfiber rags used for final cleaning on grout day really help too for urethane and epoxy grouts.

And no grout is waterproof, even epoxy grout. Maybe you meant water resistant?
