Transluscent Grout?

Does anyone know of transluscent grout? I googled it and came up with nothing. I have a job where I have to mount glass tile on a glass window and two doors. The home owner has a candle shade that they say has transluscent grout on it, and want the same thing on the window and doors. I am wondering if it isn't just the silicone used to mount the glass tile?

Maybe try the stained glass forum? Sounds like a neat idea, though.

I did a kitchen backsplash in 3x6 onyx and the grouting of it was a real nightmare. Homeowner picked out a color that he thought was nice, I thought it might need to be lighter. used his color, and once it dried, it actually made the edges of the tile look 'muddy'. I'm guessing because the tiles themselves are slightly transluscent, they no longer let the light through from the sides while the groutlines were open. So we scraped out all that grout, and went with a much lighter color. He's still not liking it too much. While we were searching for a satisfactory color, he was talking with a supplier who apparently told him that there WAS a clear or transluscent grout on the way, but it was no out yet. Perhaps just epoxy without color?

C-Cure makes a semi-transparent epoxy grout. I have used it with glass.

The grout reflects the color of the glass tile, if the glass is multi-colored
the grout will appear multi-colored.I have 1 unit left in my garage I'll try
and dig it out to get the info off the bucket
