RTC Razor with 2-bar design?

Hello everyone. To be honest I'm not much of an online social butterfly so I hope you don't mind me just popping in to ask a quick question.

Someone local is selling a like new RTC Razor tile cutter with a two-bar design for $300. All the RTC Razor cutters I find on the net are a single-rail design. I did find one picture of a two-bar design, but thought maybe it was a one-off that never went into production as I cannot find any info. Are any of you guys familiar with these cutters and have any opinions on them?

More information would be helpful. You are perhaps looking at the 63" cutter shown in this link? With the second rail oriented horizontally?

Don't know anything about that cutter, but most of the tool companies are going with the single bar because they seem to work better than the two bar cutters. To me the single bar cutters seem to be more stable during the scoring stroke. I'm at the Coverings tile show now and haven't seen any of the two bar variety. None at all.

I think the double bar cutter has been discontinued by Russo. They had a single bar they were showing off at the recent tradeshow.

Rubi is the only company that I know of that makes decent double rail cutters and you have to watch which models that you get. I think the TZ is their best one and you'll notice the rails are near vertical on that. Not tubular.

I have their old TX-N and although it has two tube rails it also has two vertical bars underneath. That's why it works well.

But it depends on what you want to cut. If it's not thick heavy porcelain then it a lower grade cutter will probably work fine.
