Mr Coffee can do that much easier.
What is the process before you pour it into the glass?

Google "Aeropress". I got one for fathers day and have been loving it. Super easy to use, cheap, unbreakable and cleanup is dead simple. I read about it on some coffee sites and even the real coffee snobs like the coffee that it makes.

I used to use a one cup drip machine for my morning cup and thought it was pretty good. Since I got used to the aeropress I can't go back.

edit: There are a lot of youtube videos showing how it works.

Davem- nice. looks like it won't break too easy. Shanna broke 3 of my french presses by throwing it in the sink, then another dish on top.

Dbol- boil some water in a pot first. grind your beans and measure out 2 tbs per 6 oz and add that to your vessel. add water just off the boil. stir grounds 3x in 3 min. after 3 minutes strain grounds and drink

Joe, that's fantastic.

I never use my coffee machine, but I would try your method.

Bought this gal at Costco over a year ago. Love it so much I took this picture of it. Makes a darn good cup of coffee and there is absolutely no clean up.
