KERDI-line channel drains!?!
So, I get home today and the nice gal from FedEx has left a package with my wife. "What's this?", says I. "Looks like it's from your German girlfriend", says my darling bride. Hooray! It's a Schluter box!!!
So, inside is another t-shirt (my wife is going to put a moratorium on these) and a bunch of predictable promotional stuff. But the really neat thing is the announcement of "KERDI-Line, An elegant low-profile alternative to traditional shower drains" It also says "Coming Soon".
Anyone else heard anything on this?

It was at Coverings on the display they had set up.

Good try, Brian. But that link took me to their TROBA-line channel drain. The KERDI-line drain is a lot sleeker with the frame being built using the Quadec profile. They look to be very different beasts.

Shaughnn,

I actually looked months back and couldn't find anything.
I think it was a one off.

Brian,
I actually called several public works departments in Tenarife, in the Canary Islands trying to talk to someone who knew something about that sidewalk. No one ever called me back.

Guess I need to start using hydroban or something - Schluter never sends me anything - ever.

Roger,
It's looking like they sent these out to people who've attended their training sessions?? Am I right, folks??? Were I in your position, I'd call your local rep and read him some fire and brimstone.
