haze cleaner on marble

I know you shouldn't use haze cleaner for grout haze on polished marble but what about on tumbled marble? I keep hearing mixed thoughts on this.

You want to use alkaline haze removers, and not acidic ones.If the bottle says don't use on marble, or metal, avoid fumes, it's aciidc(or if it says Hydrochloric, or any other acid),avoid it.
