FYI, a member is automatically awarded the "Good Conduct Medal" every 3 years or so. No recommendations needed from Commanders, etc.

Friends and family are trying to paint it as if he was trying to do the right thing. I don't buy it. I think his only motive was fame. He wanted to rile people up and that is what motivated him.

don't waste taxpayer money with Leavenworth. This guy was very intent on compromising our national security and aiding our enemies. I believe that's a pretty good definition of treason. Time for a good ol' fashion firing squad.

without addressing the the issues of military orders are you all saying that you prefer not to know that your military are turning civilians into swiss cheese and pink mist?

Nope. War sucks, people die. Now, if there was a ROE violation or Geneva Convention violation, I think some people should know.
What we had here is some young punk who clearly commited many UCMJ violations and potentially put our country at more risk. His lack of self discipline could have killed people, not saved them.
Plus, aren't they all terrorists or soon to be terrorists anyways? Just saying...

Potentially they are family. Do they deserve to die?
No more so, than all Americans deserve to die in drive-by shootings.

What I prefer is that if you go to war that you actually wage war as if you mean it. There will always be civilians that get injured or killed in a war.
I also prefer that classified information not be exposed.

Jeremy,
You sound like you are accusing our troops of mass murder. Our local police force kills more innocent people a day then our troops.
How do you suppose we conduct war without having collateral damage? Don't give me then "Peace, not war" b.s. because we don't live in a Utopia.
You are comparing apples to oranges with your "drive by shootings" talk.

And you find it acceptable that your local police execute more innocents per day than your military?
Forgive me for not living in Utopia, I guarantee i would not want to live where you do, anymore than you evidently would want me to be there.
If that is your idea of America, you can keep it.
Evidently the lunatics truly are running the Asylum
