While on vacation in Africa, some of the camp staff were working on some new living quarters. I do like how they ran the water supply and attached the shower head.

Easy to maintain that way.  I could see that style done in some industrial look home, it would look a little cleaner of course but like the "idea" of it.

I also like to use the 5" long trim nails. That way you can put trim on both sides of the wall at the same time.

I remember once sticking two pieces of 3401 cove base toe to toe in a wall installation just for shits and giggles. I really think they laid much flatter than this picture shows.

My eye went right to the bucket of mastic and the tar paper like substrate. The only whistle here is "don't let a big box store install your flooring"!!!
