Question Tile in and time for sealing

What is the best sealer out there for porcelain tile in the shower?

Hi David -

There is generally no need to seal porcelain tiles as they tend to be non-absorbent. The grout in between them can be sealed to help prevent staining.
The real key to keeping the shower tile looking its best is proper maintenance. Get a squeegee and use it all the time plus create a good cleaning routine that includes scrubbing the shower down several times a year.... and let it dry out regularly....

unglazed or polished porcelain?

if you have unglazed or polished porcelain it should be sealead, porcelain has micropores and will hold stains .drytreat has a porcelain sealer that will also seal your sinks shower glass and toilets, comes with warranty check out drytrewats website and read theirFAQ's
