Looking up SDS sheet for latex in mortar

Evening Ya'll,

Jim (jadnashua) mentioned that if we look up the SDS on the mortar we use and find no latex modifier it's safe to use on kerdi. I just wanted some clarification on this because I've looked up a couple thinset mortars by Mapei and all say silica sand and portland cement only. One contained gypsum - Ultraflex 3, but I wanted to verify that I'm not overlooking something somewhere?

Not that modified is "not safe," it's just not recommended because of the extended setting time when not exposed to air...particularly in the larger tiles.
