Estimate for Kerdi Shower in DFW or at least in TX

Hi All,

Please see the following thread, starting with post #25

http://www.johnbridge.com/vbulletin/...=115927&page=2

Can anyone help with a rough estimate of the cost to redo this?

Once I get this settled with Lowe's we'll have to decide what to do next. I'm pretty sure we don't have the heart to start over and do it ourselves, so we may also want bids on the redo, once we have an outcome for this situation.

Thanks!

What part of town are you in, Julie? I know LT ventures into the area, but he's way east. We also have Craig (gianc25?) that's west. Neither have been on here for awhile, so you may have to pm them.

Estimates Kerdiboard Shower I could send photos

Hi All,

Bumping this up because they are apparently going to do something to take care of us. Don't know what yet but they are asking for estimates
.
I could just send photos and dimensions if anyone who does Kerdi would take a stab at this but doesn't want to come here.

It's in Lucas, which is just NE of Plano/Allen area.

Thanks!

Hi Julie, how tall are your shower walls and is the ceiling tiled over the shower?

Is there a seat on the other side of the pony wall?

Thanks, Kelly. Yeah, I saw that but didn't see anything about a seat or wall height. Unless I missed it somewhere.

Julie, the numbers I gave you before would be close to what a Kerdi shower would be. A two coat mud shower has a little more labor but less cost for rough materials. So it all washes out.

Thanks Davy

No Seat, 8' walls, no tile on ceiling.

CX I'll add that to project thread as well.

Davy, would you be willing to provide a written estimate for that based on the photos that I could send to Lowes?

Thanks!
