Sealing slate tile

The project: slate tile on my bedroom wall.
Progress: Tile is fully installed, ready for grout.

Now the question: My wife likes the "wet look" of the slate (it does look better) as I was installing. What product will keep it wet looking? All I have available is the local True Value hardware store and Home Depot for sealant.
No water exposure at all. I thought maybe plain old varnish (I can hear cringing now) and my wife said: "post it and do it right David".

Thoughts please! Thank you in advance.
David.

Home Depot should sell Miracle Sealants Seal and Enhance.

Follow the directions and do a small test area first, allow to cure before proceeding. Enhancers darken the stone and you can't just wipe them off if you don't like the finished product.

But I like how they look on slate.

Thank you Isaac. I knew varnish was not correct, but I also have some limitations of products. When I installed the slate, it turned darker as I sponged it, and I actually prefer the darker look - it brings out more character in the slate. David.

Here are some details on the 511 Seal & Enhance. You should be able to find it in the big box stores and it will give you that "wet look" while sealing.
