Marble stain

Can anyone give me some insight on to how to remove this . If I rub my fingers over it it feels rough I'm not sure how it happened

Might wanna give our folks a little more information to work with, Nick.

This is part of your shower floor problem, perhaps?

It's a ledge from the top of tub that sticks out in the shower

It looks like iron from within the stone that's being exposed to moisture and rusting. But hopefully, it's just a surface contaminant. Can you very, very carefully try to use a brand-new, perfectly clean, flat razor blade to see if you can scrape it from the surface? I must emphasize how soft marble is, so please test this on a tiny, tiny spot so that if you do scratch the marble, it won't be bad.

I tried that approach and didn't work seems to not be a surface stain

You could try a poultice. Considering it’s in a wet environment even if it did pull it out it will certainly come back.
