Modified/Unmodified/medium bed... ??

I don't have this information in front of me but wondered if anyone here has taken the time to do this. We get SO many questions about which thin set to use for what I thought a list of BRANDS may help keep things straight.
I know that each thin set has it's own use and there is not one DO ALL.

My question/comment is -
If there could be a list compiled in the liberry to say :for example

Modified medium bed thin set - LATICRETE 4XLT, Mapei Ultraflex LFT , Custom's ProLite ect.............

I would like to invite ALL the manufacture's to chime in with links to their products

Anyone think this is a good idea?

Phil,

It falls in with everything else around here that is a good idea but that takes work to compile and keep current. You want to volunteer to keep the list current on a continuing basis?

And . . . know that your list will by no means put an end to all the questions.

Thanks for volunteering Phil.

You can list each thinset in a category and link each manufacturers data sheet.

you can find them on each manufacturers website.

there's a lot of them out there so find them all. Laticrete, Mapei, Custom, TEC, Jamo,
North American Adhesives, Merkrete, ProSpec, Ardex, Super-Tek, Hydroment, Bostik
and tons of other smaller ones out there for local people.

OK, OK, Maybe it wasn't a great idea and NO I don't volunteer to make the list.

After hitting the "enter" button of the original post I realized that geographic availability of materials differ as well as, like it has been noted, the amount of good companies that deserve to be on the list,I guess it just makes sense to address each question independently.
