Question. Do you tile the wall up to the ceiling, then tile the ceiling? Or do you tile the ceiling first, then the wall? Is their one way better than the other? Also, the floor what is preferred? Thanks guys.

When finished, the look is nearly identical and takes a bit of a trained eye to spot the difference.

Ok. Thanks. One more question. Grouting the shower. I like the idea that Spectralock offers of no sealing. We used to could buy it at Lowes, but it has since been removed from the shelf. I can only find it at wholesalers in Dallas and Fort Worth and they won't sell it to me. What are my choices? I've spent considerable effort on this project and want to finish it with a good grout that will hold up and last. Thanks for the help.

Roger,
Call the fine folks at Laticrete directly for a list of suppliers closest to your home. Maybe Davy will know. I'm 350 miles away.

Yes I will try that. I read all good reviews on Spectralock. What's your thoughts in it for its look and durability?

It looks as good as Mrs Roger thinks it does.
It wears like iron.

Mrs. Roger wants something that less maintenance. Wears like iron means its good then. That's important in our shower. I come home dirty alot.

I know what you mean Roger, some days I am told to strip to my undies in the back yard and carry my clothes directly to the washer.

I know I will get brutally beaten for asking this, but, is their something else comparable to Spectralock that is available that performs well?

It's the Tec invision. Only one they keep besides mapei regular grout. The Tec is premixed. I've always heard to run from premixed anything.
