The easiest way to clean something like that is to sale the house and move.

That is just wrong. I am planning a ledgestone wall behind the tub in my next bath project, but it's going to be a clawfoot tub with a curtain that goes all the way around. No way would I want soapy water hitting a wall like that. Actually, that's what I would recommend if you must actually use that shower. Hang a curtain or some plastic sheeting.

maybe Rhino Line it!! Guess you could always bring in your powerwasher and spray it clean.

Right. I'll re-phrase the question;
How do you grout/seal/waterproof/moldproof this??

Grout: you don't.
Seal: any good spray on sealer.
Waterproof: your tile does not provide waterproofing, if the shower was properly constructed you are fine, if not, there is nothing you can do about it now other than tear stuff out and fix it.
Moldproof: you don't. You can't squeegee. Installing, and USING, a really good ventilation fan to get the moister out after you use the shower will help. If a surface applied membrane such as Ditra/Hydroban/Etc. was used it will help, but just like the waterproofing, you have what you have at this point.
Bottom line: that shower was ill conceived

Seal it with a Solvent based sealer and drench the heck out of it.
Those installs look good, people seem to fail to realize that not all designs are functional, wood planks on a bathroom floor are no more or less functional than those applications. I personaly think they look gorgeous, from a install point of view and a design point of view.
Cleaning ? A semi-soft nylon bristle brush and a quality stone cleaner.
Functional? Well maybe not in the same aspect as 4 1/4" lug D100. But looks a hell of alot better.

DJ,
A pro will never recommend such materials to be used in these applications .
Steam cleaning may work .
