tomecanic or sigma
thinking of getting a new board. im pondering the tomecanic 29 or sigma 30 they seem very similar or maybe not? never used either i do like the push handle and brake anywhere on the tomecanic but with never using either and knowhere to try one im up for any and all opinions what say you ? which would you buy ?

I don't own the Sigma, but a guy I worked with owns one and it is freakin sweet, I really like how the whole fence turns. The tomecanic looks nice as well, but I've never used it.
Oh and Rick in your one video you have a really thick Philly accent...acrOss the glAAss...not a bad thing, much better than my Lancaster county amish accent

Tomecanic is a really nice cutter. Many ball-bearings smooth, cuts pretty much anything (never tried stone), clips corners on porcelain, rips little slivers, snaps em anywhere..... Fence is better for a lefty as it only works on the right - I usually take the fence off anyhow unless I'm doin a bunch of something.... which is rare for me.

Just put a new blade on my tomechanic and wow. 5 years is too long. I would like to try a sigma, might by one next time around.
