Phil,
Here's a fairly new thread showing someone's experience with Tile Redi.
One of the first remodeling decisions I made after searching the web in general, threads here on John Bridge, and asking for advice on Tile Redi pans in my own thread, was to build a mud pan.
Haven't done it before, haven't gotten to it yet, but from what I can tell, the Tile Redi pans are a huge pain to install and tile over, and they cost a lot more than mud - my pan will cost me about $30.00.

Another vote agains, Phil.
Not saying it's not a good product. Never seen one in the flesh. Have read a good deal about them and seen the many discussions about them here on the forums.
Expensive. Difficult to work with. That's the impression I get. Some downsides, no upside.
If a customer invited me to build a shower using one, I think I'd decline.
My opinion; worth price charged.

First i would like to say if it wasn't for this forum i would not even attempt this project.I think i have made up my mind.Curb:P/T 2x4s using tar paper under the first one and using lead anchors into the slab. Walls:Sheetrock. Floor: Mud Waterproofing: Kerdi. Question:Two walls are outside walls,the third is not.Do i need a plastic vapor barrier on the outside walls?

I caution again against using pressure treated lumber anywhere in a tile application.
You do not want a moisture barrier behind any wall on which you intend to install Kerdi. Matters not interior or exterior. Don't do that.
Go to the Schluter website and watch some or all the Kerdi video clips. Read all the installation instructions.
Purchase and download JB's Kerdi Shower eBook and read it all before you pick up another tool.
My opinion; worth price charged.

If your slab has a moisture vapor emission problem, you should go with the CMU curb, Phil. If not, good kiln-dried lumber with your felt under it will serve you just fine.
KDAT is not readily available in some parts of the country, common as dirt in others. In San Antonio, Texas area I know of exactly one lumber yard that carries it.

Sorry but i have another problem. My wife [Does not want a tiled shower floor].
So back to a one piece base/curb.I have been looking all over the net and there are so so many i don't know which is the best. Can some one help?

They all come with a lip on top of the pan. Can i use backer board and Kerdy? If so how do i end the Kerdy at the bottom?

You can install kerdi similar to how one installs with a tub. Check out the shower handbook, they walk you thru it.
