Durock the shower curb or tile over rubber liner
I'm creating a tiled shower and need some help. I ran a rubber liner across the floor, up the 3 full walls about 8 inches and up and over the 4" curb. I had to overlap the rubber, I used cement and have good solid bond. I nailed the rubber to the 3 full walls about 7 inches up from the floor using galvanized nails then ran durock on the entire wall down to the shower floor stopping with my last screws about 5 inches up.
My question: Do I Durock the curb? I wouldn't think tiling vertical rubber surfaces would hold very well. Any help or other tips for completion would be great, thanks!
In searching, I found some info on using metal lathe over the curb and I think I have it now but should I lathe and morter over the durock walls or just tile them directly
