Ditra Membrane with Radiant Heat in Basement?

i am a lowly homeowner who is considering putting a stone floor in basement. builder is suggesting that i put the Ditra Uncoupling Membrane beneath stone so cracks won't occur. Basement slab was installed over a vapor barrier about 9 to 12 months ago. The basement has infloor radiant heat.

my questions:
a. ok to use ditra over radiant?
b. i am actually concerned about this membrane TRAPPING vapor between concrete subfloor and the membrane. I thought the idea to avoid mold was to let the basement floor breathe and give moisture a place to escape to rather than trap it like this membrane may. any thoughts about this?

thank you all.

Read up on Ditra over at Schluter's website... it's designed to allow vapor to escape at its edges.

And yes, quite compatible with radiant heat.
