Here are a few I made out of kerdi-board sloping the front face of the bench in so I could put a custom made trench drain against the bottom of the bench.

I only know one thing when it comes to kerdi fix and kerdi board, use the two together and your not gonna pull them apart. As for making partial walls, I'll let you experts on Kerdi board step in and say what you have to do. But then aren't people using versabond over kerdi and most here are fine with that? Oh that's right we don't have any Schluter people allowed on here

Jim awesome work in that bathroom, great layout

Rod another neat project, 254 yes that will stick to everything. Get it on your clothing or person, have fun getting it off

I don't think Neil is gonna give up the information, top secret like the tile layout

Current project in Harrisburg PA, still have a few things to do. Waiting on black marble to go under the bench. Pan is Cast Iron, customer's choice and had it ordered before I even bid the job. Plumbing fixtures go in Monday with Todd Stull on site

When it comes to planks the possibilities are unlimited for Brian

Worked on shower while I was at the same home for another project and ended up going with mosaic tile same as field tile vs marble. Kerdi board used added support and to accent.
