Anti Slip Treatment for polished marble

Was asked to apply an anti slip treatment to a polished marble floor. 4500sf.

From what I have read about most of them, they say they cannot be applied to polished marble without etching the surface.

Does anyone know of any product that will NOT etch the surface?

Thanks

John Rupich

That's essentially what they are, an acidic pit maker,i have heard of some but i don't know the name, but my guess is it's a product that wears, and needs to be redone occasionally, and you won't know it's wore off till you fall.I myself wouldn't take on the liability of assuring someone a polished marble floor is anti-slip, myself....toooo skeeered.

Hi John,

There was a guy who came on here about a year ago selling the type of product you might be looking for. Had him send me some samples that I've never tried. I've got it right here. It's called Wonder Step. They swear it doesn't etch, but again, I don't know.

Here's another, have their small sample pack, got it at the stone show, never used it yet, so can't comment on it.

Does say, softer high gloss tile may spot.

Yea right, no job security working for the government.
Niki worked for them for 14 years. One day they sent up a new head honcho and he let 4 people go.(he was known as the Axeman)
She was a lab technician. She was the only one that knew how to fix most of the machinery.2 months later they called her and asked if she could come fix a machine for them. She said sure,500.00 minimum charge and 80.00 per hour.
They needed it bad so they complained(figured she would do it for free) but they said fine. She fixed it in 15 minutes.visited her friends on the staff for an hour or so and handed them a bill for 500 bucks!!
I ran into the guy who was the biggest complainer a while later and he was still whining.I told him if he had had a tech rep come up from the cities it would have cost him 5000.00 minimum.I told him he got off cheap because i had told her to charge em 2500.00 minimum
I couldnt believe the guy. After 14 years of faithful service they let her go and he figures she should be thankful to get an opportunity to come work on a piece of thier equipment?? What a friggin Idiot!!
She's better off without em.She now has her own company and is doing great
