Dave

Me thinks either you need glases or, if you wear them, maybe a new better pair.

WHY IS IT THAT you find that thing you saved "just in case", immediately after you have just used the New one bought, because you couldn't find the one you saved.

I NEVER seem to be able to fish out a Philips. Could be that all my drivers are flat nose?

Mark, I had a morning route. Up at four, back in bed at quarter of six, up again at 7:30 to get ready for school. I was 11 years old and made $30 a month if I was able to collect it all. Yes, part of the job was going around several evenings every month and knocking on doors. Oh, for the good old days.

I quit taking the paper several years ago because they (adults) couldn't get it here before I left for the job. When I had my route that rolled up paper would come smashing against your front door between 4:30 and 5:15 screaming "Everybody up"!! Yeah, those were the good old days.

I've got a couple of these, and I rarely need anything else (only multi-bit screwdriver I've had that was worth owning):

Next time I need one, I'm going to try one of these:

John

I was guaranteed my paper here in NPR to be delivered by 5 am and I was up early enough on several occasions to pick it up and it was at my door. How about that? They could have told me by 7 am and I would have been just as happy.
Actually, most days I don’t get up that early, but it’s nice to find my paper delivered by 5 am as promised. I must be living a charmed life. .

Why is it....

That every year when its time for a smog check my "check engine" light comes on?

That you drive on a parkway?
That you park in a driveway?

I don't think this thread will become the classic that "Ignore This Post" thread is.
