Very high tech and great detail work. Looks like one of the “show” bathrooms at a industry trade conventions.

After being offline for so long you and Mrs. Dan will have to go through a training period to get used to having the master bath again.

Took me a few days to stop waking out to hall bathroom after my master bath job!

Thanks PC. I actually finished it two weeks ago, but the "custom" toilet flush plate/actuator only showed up this past Wednesday.

And yeah, it did take me a few days for me to remember it was available, especially during middle of the night callings. LOL

I try to jump in where I feel I know something about the issue, and occasionally when I don't.

It is gratifying to give back to the community.

Haven't been on here in a while but glad I checked this thread again. Great job Dan, the entire bathroom turned out nice. I am a fan of the constrast between the walls/floors and soapstone/cabinets.

Now that Mrs. Dan is happy (and probably distracted in the short-term) go ahead and stock up on some new tools haha

Thanks you guys, am still quite pleased with how it turned out and actually functions, after now almost 3 weeks in use.

The electronic shower valve and dual controls have, so far, turned out to be great and very, very quiet. There's no sound when the valves open, and no hissing/whistling sound of water running through the plumbing or exiting the heads. Being buried behind foam board and tile helps, running them at reduced pressure helps, and I think the good quality heads help. Only sound it makes is a very muted thunk at shut down. I bet it's a different story on the other side of the wall though.

The dedicated night light next to the toilet turned out to be largely unnecessary, as the shower controller I/O buttons, while dimmed when the system is off, still give enough light along with ambient light from the skylight. Ah well, can't think of everything. It's still cool, though. lol

This turned out to be really nice! Enjoy your new master shower in good health! I myself am glad that I am done with my bathrooms. Back-breaking work for sure! What a journey this has been for you, Dan! Do you have any new projects on the horizon, by any chance?

Who makes those sinks? i really like the design!

Thanks Wolfgang, the whole mess is working pretty much as I had thought it would. And well it should, given the number of hours I spent contemplating everything. LOL.

The sinks are quite nice I think, I shopped hard for those. Wanted something that split the difference between a true vessel sink and a surface or under mount. They are Kohler's, cast iron. They used to be available with a bunch of different color combinations between the top and bottom, but I guess there wasn't enough demand so now the exposed bottom comes only in black. I found an gray enamel spray paint at HD that pretty closely matched the cabinets and the lighter of the wall colors so sprayed the bottoms with that (as well as the HVAC grill).

Finally put the heated floor into use, now I understand what all the to do is about.

Next large scale project will be the hall/guest bath, but that one will be on the cheap.
