I've been contemplating one of them bad boys for a couple of years now. Even asked about them a few months ago when I joined, and I think bill and I think somebody else posted some small detailed radiouses cut with it.

That somebody else be me. And it was a radius cut on granite the size of a dime. Like that saw a lot!
Our bath wall mural is the new project with it. Will share some of the details on that in a couple weeks when the tiles start getting cut. Just got the template made this weekend and FINALLY got some good, matte black porcelain delivered.
Do you know where you are going to buy your DL? We got a good deal at Construction Complete after a lot of shopping around.
Also, here is a link to help you post pitchers!

Here's a few older comissions I had...
They're made with floor tile on hardibacker. I just finished carving 2 different comissions: a woman figure and a horse, both very beautiful, but no pics yet.
Below: The first is of the painting 'The Kiss' by Klimpt in 1904, the second is something just for fun.

Smokin' work Smoking!
I like the swirls in the background of the first, nice touch.
Is that floor in your house Bill? j/k Looks like a lot of taping for the 2 different grout colors (or maybe it's my monitor) Beautiful stuff. I'd sure like to have a 'curvey' saw, could make some really fun stuff.

well mark, the grout is all the same color, and I'd really like to have a curvy saw too! If you guys like this stuff, the new stuff will knock your socks off.
I'll post it as the comissions go through.

Jerimiah, please do post 'em. Most of us all like 'tile-art' around here.
2 color grout: Sorry, referring to Bill's pic.

Great work Bill. I'll bet those letters were fragile. Did a pattern tile 12x8 with laser cut concentric circles, £30 ($52) each tile. They were so fragile.!! scary stuff.

Thats the tile on the right. That column of tiles cost £360 ($630).

That's why they hire us, Danny-- for the times when you CAN'T make mistakies!!
Cutting the letters was fun. Moving them from the area I where I was cutting to where they had to be set was NERVE racking.

In case anyone else was interested in a Diamond Laser 5000, I found the best deal at www.tracysworkshop.com, has it for $999, and comes with an extra diamond blade. Shipping for $39. All the other places go for about the same price all in all, but no extra blade. I was eyeing one on ebay that went for $600 with no water tray, no blade, used.
Has anyone done business with tracysworkshop.com before?
