Dan,

I guess the part of my message about pouring the water part of the mixture down the drain is being overlooked. As I stated twice, the muck, solids, whatever you want to call them should be put aside to dry or thrown directly into the trash can. The waste treatment plants can handle the diluted latex from paint brushes, etc. If one were to pour the water from their tile saw into a bucket and let it settle, the water that remains is almost clear and no harm will come from pouring it down the drain. The solids can go in the trash. That's where my "yard bunnies" end up and that's where my scraps of tile, stone and sludge from my tile saw ends up as well. I don't recommend pouring the solid parts down the drain...only the water.

There is lime in there. Where ever you put it in your yard, nothing will grow.
Five gallon buckets, let it sit, pour the water in the nearest storm drain, throw the rest in the trash. A local tile factory was sued by the Government for heavy metal contamination of the ground water.- Steve

ok...yard bunny it is.
I should have one by the end of the week.
And no drain pipes will be harmed in the making of my creature.

Steve,

If you got caught in this county (San Diego) pouring that stuff down the storm drain you would be prosecuted. The storm drains here run directly to the ocean and the govt. is vigilent in arresting and prosecuting people who dump into the storm drains. That's why I recommended the sewer system. The city even publishes a booklet that specifically tells you to wash paintbrushes in the sink not the gutter.

Mike! What a cute bunny!. Here are my entries although they are not bunnies.

The brown one is grout. Saw holes for eyes and the plumbers straw from lunch for a smoke.

The gray one is mortar. Saw holes again for eyes.

The third is the perfect size to hold a spray paint lid while it is off the can.

Fantastic Darla.

No finer a yard monster has ever graced these Boards. I'm putting that in the Liberry. Don't know exactly where yet, but that is going in the Liberry.

I thru my creation of devils tower(close encounters of the 3rd kind) away before my wife saw it otherwise she'd figger out why it took me so long to tile the shower. I told her tiling a shower was very intricate work.
